Underfoot Floors Inc., based in Salt Lake City, Utah, has installed over 7,000 floors over the past 18 years and is rated a 5-star company by happy customers. Our customers are smart, discerning, and unique individuals who want to work with a reputable company that cares about its employees, community and the environment.

Underfoot is taking all CDC recommended precautions as we continue to work in residential and commercial jobsites. We require that we are the only trade working during the time that we are there to install, and we are constantly disinfecting surfaces and washing our hands. We are asking customers who may be living at the site during install to make arrangements to be gone while we are working, or separated from the work area. We are currently still doing estimates for our customers, with precautions.

Our Guarantee

You will be happy with the products and services we offer; that's our guarantee. If not we will do everything possible to satisfy the issues to your approval. No flooring company in Utah has a better reputation than we do.

B Corporation

Underfoot Floors was one of the first 13 corporations in Utah to be registered as a B Corporation. These companies commit themselves to the good of the greater community and not just to their own bottom line. B Corps have a high ethical standard that applies to their relationships with employees, customers, suppliers, and to the communities in which they live and work.

Since becoming a B Corp, Underfoot and its owner Eric Cole have supported such worthy nonprofits as International Rescue Committee and volunteered time at their refugee Spice Kitchen. We are a longtime supporter of KRCL radio, KUER, and KUED. We have donated money or services to nonprofits such as Arctic Breeds rescue, Bicycle Collective, and the Tibetan Buddhist Temple. We also send money to Doctors Without Borders and Campaign for Tibet.

In 2017 we donated over $7000 of labor to renovate flooring in the Salt Lake Choral building, a space used by a few dance nonprofits. In 2018 we returned to our environmental roots and donated $1000 to become a John Muir Society Guardian of the Sierra Club. We have also donated money or services to The Wasatch Mountain Club, Wasatch Community Gardens, and to Tree Utah.

Over the past five years we have donated in goods, services, or money at least 2% of our net profit to nonprofits or worthy causes along the Wasatch Front and beyond.
